Utility Department at 143 Union Valley Rd, Monroe Twp, NJ 08831, between the hours of 8am 3pm. Each bidder must deposit bid security of (10%) ten percent of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to the Monroe Township Utility Department or M.T.U.D. without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so he shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest to do so and to award the contract for any and/or all items. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
