Demolition, site work and addition to a fitness / recreation center in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a fitness / recreation center; for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

Bladen County Central Operations is accepting sealed bids for the Construction of a Bathroom Addition on Bladen County Gym Located at 803 West King Street, Elizabethtown NC 28337. Any proposal received subsequent to that time will be promptly returned to the Bidder unopened. All proposals must be made by a properly licensed general contractor in the state of North Carolina. All questions regarding Contract Documents, bidding requirements and scope of work need to be emailed to kmclary@bladenco.org no later than 5:00pm on October 29, 2021. The County of Bladen reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals. The project scope consists of Constructing a 510 sf Masonry Structure with a Concrete Slab Floor and Standing Seam Metal Roof on the West end of the current Gym Building. The Structure shall have an interior partition wall dividing the structure into two bathrooms with 3 stalls and 2 sinks in each bathroom. Modification will be required to the west wall of the existing Gym Building to give access to the facility from the inside the Gym. Heating and cooling of the Bathroom Addition will be accomplished with two 1,800 BTU Mini-Split HVAC units. Plumbing and electrical will connect to the exiting utilities of the current Gym Building
