Renovation of an educational facility in Batesville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The mechanical renovation of Wilson-Rogers and McRae residence halls at Lyon College include the removal and replacement of the existing mechanical systems, domestic water piping and bathroom finishes. The buildings are currently on a two-pipe hydronic system loop and will be replaced with free-standing Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. A fresh air system will also be added to each building. The existing chiller and boiler, which are located in a central plant adjacent to the building, will be removed. The existing domestic water piping and plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms will be replaced. The existing water heater, located in the central plant, will also be replaced. The existing bathroom ceilings, light fixtures, millwork, finishes and hardware will be demolished and replaced. All exposed surfaces that are affected by the work will be repaired or replaced as needed. A five (5) percent Bid Security is required with Bid for bid proposals $20,000 and over. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive formalities. Bidder must have a current general or specialty license from the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, count and local laws, ordinances and regulations. completion no later than March 31, 2022
