Union County Board of Education, Monroe, NC, will receive bids for Roof Replacement at The Central Academy of Technology & Arts, Roof 1.24 The work includes, but is not limited to the following items. Replacement of all existing standing seam metal roofing on Roof 1.24 and replacement with new additional rigid insulation and adhered PVC membrane with simulated metal ribs, including associated edge metal, gutters, and downspouts as indicated on drawings and specified within the project manual. Alternate No. 1 is a Preferred Brand Alternate to include a custom color PVC membrane as manufactured by Seaman Corp. Alternate No. 2 includes a new elastomeric coating on other existing metal roofs. The Owner reserves the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities in bidding. Bidders shall note the compliance with the Owner's Minority Participation Policy is applicable to this project.
