Bidders: C&A Consulting - $410,796.50 Westar Construction, LLC - $569,140.00 Austin Filter Systems, Inc. - $574,816.00 This project includes removal of approximately 200 SY of concrete sidewalk, ramps and driveways, combined and 70 SY of asphalt pavement. Installation of approximately 1550 SY of concrete sidewalk, driveway, and ramps, combined; approximately 360 LF of concrete curb and gutter; approximately 350 SY asphalt pavement; approximately 150 LF of culvert with 6 safety end treatments; 1 special curb inlet; approximately 350 LF ditch cleaning and reshapng; approximately 10 small road sign assemblies; approximately 1050 SY of topsoil and sod including vegetative watering; approximately 300 LF or 24 inch pavement markings; and 2 pedestrian crossing poles with mast arm assemblies with approximately 200 LF of conduit. Bidders must submit a cashiers check, certified check, or acceptable bidders bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Granger in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds, and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The City of Granger reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities.
