The Board of Education of the City of Chicago invites pre-qualified General Contractors to bid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between the Board and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2017. The Contractor must adhere to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Karlov Ave. followed by residential properties, to the south by W. 57th St. followed by residential properties and to the west by residential properties. The property consists of four main structures, A church in the southeast corner of the property, a rectory to the north of the church, a school on the central and southwestern portion of the property and a convent on the northwest portion of the property. A parking lot is located on the northeast corner of the property, an alley runs east west between the church and rectory and another alley runs north south between the school structure and church and rectory.
