The city is seeking qualified respondent interested and qualified to provide design/build services for a turnkey solution for the East GA Hangar #3 and #4 Fire Suppression system, this system was severely damaged by freezing temperatures in February 2021.The respondent shall provide all the necessary design, material procurement, management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, components, and comply with the with NFPA 409, Standard on Aircraft Hangars, and subsequent referenced standards per IFC 2015, Section 914.8.3 to successfully complete the installation of a fully Automatic Fire Suppression Closed The deadline to ask questions is 11/10/2021 5:00 PM CST The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.Request for proposals for design services is underway CCIA desires to provide fully automatic fire suppression systems for Hangars 3 and "lean to" Hanger 4 located 514 Hangar Ln at Corpus Christi International Airport: Hangar 3: 30,800 sq ft of aircraft storage and service area Hangar 4: 5,000 sq ft of aircraft storage and service area 2,000 sq ft of office area within the Hangar boundaries.
