The project, Parvin Branch Underpass Trail, includes demolition of existing facilities, grading, paving, retaining wall construction, storm drain, inlets, box culvert, headwalls, erosion control, pavement markings, signage, temporary irrigation, and landscaping from the existing trail along the east of Preston Road/State Hwy 289 and under the existing bridge to the west side of Preston Road/State Hwy 289. No pre-bid meeting is planned. Questions Due Date: Nov 3rd 2021, 4:00 PM CDT Bidders must submit with their bids a cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to the OWNER or a Bid Bond in the same amount from an approved Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract is issued to him or her. The successful Bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety. The contrcator will be required to provide a Maintenance Bond executed by a corporate surety in accordance with Vernon's Texas Insurance Code, in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract guaranteeing the prompt, full, and faithful performance of the general guaranty and warranty contained in the Contract Documents. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; and all bids submitted are subject to this reservation.
