Site work and new construction of a data center facility in Henderson, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a data center facility; and for site work for a data center facility.

The work to be performed and the bid to be submitted shall include a complete project cost for all work required including labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to the construction of the new building. Bids received from bidders who are not recorded by the Owner as having received the Bid Documents will not be opened. Commencement of the Work: January 26, 2022 Completion of the Work: is November 18, 2022 Amount of the deposit for up to three sets of bidding documents may be refunded in full when the Plans and Specifications have been returned to MACO - Evansville Blue within ten (10) days after time set for receiving bids and in good re-usable condition. If the Plans and Specifications are returned after this ten (10) day period or in unusable condition, the deposit will be forfeited. One (1) set of bidding documents consists of one (1) Project Manual and one (1) Complete Set of Drawings. The City of Henderson, Kentucky, Utility Commission (HMP&L) reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities therein and to consider exceptions and clarifications therein in order to determine the lowest and best bid; to reject any or all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids; to reject the Bid of any Bidder if the Utility Commission believes it would not be in the best interest of the Utility Commission to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Utility Commission. The Utility Commission also reserves the right to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder. By submitting a Bid to the Utility Commission, the Bidder agrees that such procedures shall be without liability on the part of the Utility Commission for any damage or claim brought by the Bidder because of such rejections or procedures, nor shall the Bidder seek any recourse of any kind against the Utility Commission because of such rejections or procedures. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions. Utility Commission reserves the right to select individual bid items or packaged bids. If packaged bid is submitted, individual pricing should still be submitted. Successful Bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for this Project. The Bidder must return the Reciprocal Preference Document and the Affidavit for Bidders Claiming Resident Bidder Status (if applicable).
