Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed under this contract includes milling and resurfacing of Weiss Road from East Saddle River Road to Brownstone Way. Also included is restriping, spot curb repair, reset existing castings, reconstruction of inlets and other incidentals. Principal items of work in the project include: .9,830 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less .1,450 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course .5 Unit Reconstructed Inlet, Type B, Using New Casting .6,600 L.F. Traffic Stripes, 4". Breakaway Barricade Asphalt Price Adjustment HMA Milling, 3" or Less Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Repair Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course Reset Existing Casting Curb Piece Reconstructed Inlet, Type B, Using New Casting 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Hot Mix Asphalt Driveway, 6" Thick Tack Coat Traffic Markings Lines, 12" Traffic Stripes, 4" Contract shall be completed within 60 days of the notice to proceed. Such checks and Bonds shall be made payable to the Owner and will be held as a Guarantee that in the event the Bid is accepted and a Contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract shall be duly executed and its performance properly secured. Further, the successful bidder must furnish the policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract. In default thereof, said checks and the amount represented thereby will be forfeited to the aforesaid Owner as liquidated damages. Bids must be accompanied, in the case of corporations not chartered in New Jersey, by proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. All corporations and partnerships must comply with Chapter 33, of the P.L. of 1977, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Owner and labeled for the WEISS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder.
