Site work for a water / sewer project in Cadiz, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work to be bid upon is described as follows: Contract #1 South Wastewater Collection System Improvements The work shall consist of installation of approximately 2,435 LF of HDPE storm pipe ranging in size from 12" to 24", eight (8) storm sewer manholes, 16 catch basins, 5,110 LF of 6" and 14,280 LF of 8" PVC sanitary sewer pipe, 65 LF of 6" and 1,770 LF of 8" DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 100 sanitary sewer manholes, 45 LF of 16" steel casing bore & jack, relining 500 LF of 6-inch, 8,965 LF of 8-inch and 1,425 LF of 10-inch sanitary sewer line, raising 13 existing manholes to grade, replacing 43 manhole frame and covers, 250 VF of manhole lining, surface restoration, reconnection of existing lines and all other necessary appurtenances. Contract #2 Center Wastewater Collection System Improvements The work shall consist of installation of approximately 1,225 LF of HDPE storm pipe ranging in size from 12" to 24", five (5) storm sewer manholes, eight (8) catch basins, 5,630 LF of 6" and 4,885 LF of 8" PVC sanitary sewer pipe, 515 LF of 6" and 1,270 LF of 8" DIP sanitary sewer pipe, 56 sanitary sewer manholes, 295 LF of 16" steel casing bore & jack, relining 430 LF of 6-inch and 9,410 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer line, raising 12 existing manholes to grade, replacing 36 manhole frame and covers, 235 VF of manhole lining, surface restoration, reconnection of existing lines and all other necessary appurtenances. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: E.L. Robinson Engineering Company 5088 Washington Street, West Charleston, WV 25313 Attn: Jack Ramsey, P.E. 304-776-7473/jramsey@elrobinson.com Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "E.L. Robinson Engineering Company". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge of $35.00 per set, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partialsets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. This construction of this project will be funded in part with funds made available from the Federal Government through the US Army Corps of Engineers Section 594 program. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for construction projects receiving Federal aid including, but not limited to, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). This procurement is subject to the EPA policy for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) utilization. As stated in the Instruction for Bidders, DBE Forms 6100-2, 6100-3 and 6100-4 must be completed and included with the Bidder's required bid documents. If a Bidder isn't planning on using any sub-contractors, then he/she shall mark "N/A" in the appropriate locations on the forms. If a Bidder is planning on using a sub-contractor(s), but is below the DBE participation goals, then he/she shall include documentation of good faith effort to involve DBE firms and include such documentation with the required bid documents. NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
