As of May 4, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Project No: SAM20290 Replacement of an existing lift station with a new packaged duplex lift station with fiberglass wet well and associated valves, piping, site/civil work, electrical and controls. The estimated construction cost is $800,000. Bidders must submit a cashiers check, certified check, or acceptable bidders bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Award is scheduled for the January 4, 2022, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City of San Marcos Purchasing and Contracting Division only at rshelton@sanmarcostx.gov.
