The Proposal / Bid is to provide an option / concept for a "Turn-Key" interior, aquarium themed Carousel (28'in diameter) with amenities expected to not exceed $600,000. Carousel shall meet the specifications of Section 130114 - Operation and Maintenance of Amusement Park Structures and Equipment. Owner shall provide foundation and electrical power to Carousel location. Contractor shall fabricate, ship and install Carousel, including making final electrical connections between Carousel equipment and Owner-provided electrical termination point. The Proposal / Bid shall include manufacturer's brochure, detailed list of Carousel features, photographs of marine figures and scaled drawings of plans and elevations along with factory warranties and product liability information on all components. The bid security is a guaranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the completion of the OKLAHOMA AQUARIUM - CAROUSEL PROJECT. The bid security will be paid to Owner as reasonable liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into the contract Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions of bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities in any bid. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Architect in writing. Written questions may be faxed to (918) 299-7257. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities; and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder; and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum.
