Site work and paving for a road / highway in Salamanca, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Construction of Phase II of the Quaker Multi-Use Trail which will be an approximately 3.6 mile long, 10-foot wide paved trail extending from the Quaker General Store to the Quaker Lake Beach area. The project includes the construction of eight pedestrian bridges and one elevated timber boardwalk to span existing creeks, swales, and wetlands. The bridges vary in length and will be steel truss structures with timber decks and concrete abutments. Associated work includes storm drainage, erosion control, pavement markings, and signage. Pedestrian accommodations will include roadway crosswalks, advance warning signage, and ADA accessibility in the overall design of the project. The Owner is the OPRHP and the work site is located in the City of Salamanca, Cattaraugus County. The projects limits extend from: Quaker General Store to the Quaker Lake Beach. The project estimate including allowance is: $4,600,000 - $6,200,000. The EEO Employment goals for this project are: 6.3% Minority Employment Goal 6.9% Women Employment Goal RFI's are due by 3:00 PM on November 5, 2021. All RFI's must be submitted in writing in order to be considered. RFI's received after this date and time will not be processed. Questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to Carissa Hartson, Contract Administrator, OPRHP through email at Carissa.Hartson@parks.ny.gov. Bidders shall promptly notify Carissa Hartson of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within 3 days of bid opening. OPRHP reserves the right to consider the bids for forty-five (45) days after receipt before awarding any Contract, and to waive any minor informalities in, and to reject, any and all bids. All bids are subject to final review and approval by the Attorney General before any award of contract may be made. Receipt of bids by OPRHP shall not be construed as authority to bind OPRHP. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
