Renovation of an educational facility in Gloucester City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Prime Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury. Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. The following DPMC-Classified Trade(s) and License(s) may be required by the Overall Prime Bidder and/or their subcontractors: COOS General Construction C009 General Construction/Alterations and Additions. CO32 Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACr). The project consists of but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of air handler units, boilers, fan coil units, and the modification of all associated HVAC, electrical and finish work as indicated on the drawings and/or required. The Work shall include, but not be limited to, demolition, fire suppression. mechanical, controls, fire alarm and electrical work. Bids must be made upon the official Form of Bid and shall include Bid Security 111 the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or by Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid but in no case in excess of $20.000.00. The bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Consent of Surety in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, agreeing to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond. each in the stated principal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, and a two-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract amount. Contracts for work under these bids will obligate contractors and Subcontractors to (1) pay Prevailing Wages in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56(a) et. seq., (2) comply with equal opportunity laws in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq.. (3) comply with Affirmative Action laws in accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:27 and comply with Exhibit B of the Department of the Treasury. Guidelines for Administering EEO in Public Contracts. (4) provide ownership disclosure information per N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. (5) comply with New Jersey Business Registration laws in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and (6) comply with any and all successors, amendments or additions thereto. Prime Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the State of New Jersey Public School Contract Law. N.J.S.A. Title 18A bidding laws.
