Project generally consists of approximately 284 LF of 42" Steel Casing Pipe (bored and jacked) The project generally consists of approximately 284 LF of 42" Steel Casing Pipe (bored and jacked) with 24" DIP (RJ) Carrier Pipe, 90 LF of 24" Steel Casing (bored and jacked) with 12" PVC C900 (RJ) Carrier Pipe, 288 LF of 24" gravity sewer line, 52 LF of 12" gravity sewer line, 24 LF of 8" PVC gravity sewer line, 10 manholes (with interior coating), 7 sewer/forcemain reconnections, a railroad crossing, and associated work tasks for a complete and proper installation. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI or the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. The project will generally require the following work activities: 1. Clearing and grubbing activities of permanent and temporary rights-of-way, 2. Confirming existing site conditions, 3. Installation of approximately 284 LF of 42" Steel Casing Pipe (bored and jacked) with 24" DIP (RJ) Carrier Pipe, 4. Installation of approximately 90 LF of 24" Steel Casing (bored and jacked) with 12" PVC C900 (RJ) Carrier Pipe, 5. Installation of approximately 288 LF of 24" gravity sewer line via open cut, 6. Installation of approximately 52 LF of 12" gravity sewer line via open cut, 7. Installation of approximately 24 LF of and 8" gravity sewer line via open cut, 8. Installation of approximately 10 manholes (with interior coating), 9. Installation of approximately 7 sewer/forcemain reconnections, 10. Railroad crossing, 11. Installation and maintenance, and removal of erosion control facilities, 12. Site restoration activities, 13. Other associated appurtenances for a complete and proper installation.
