Renovation of a municipal facility in Lebanon, Indiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. The responses shall conform to IC 36-1-12.5 and the Reese Park Lift Station and Gravity Sewer Improvements RFP Guidelines. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Owner's objective in issuing the RFP is to provide a means by which to select a single Guaranteed Savings Contract Provider to perform improvements to its Wastewater Collections System; which at the sole discretion of the Owner may apply to both the initial phase and future phases of the project, with the first phase being the Reese Park Lift Station. construct a new lift station at Reese Park to intercept and redirect flow around the Mar Lee neighborhood and to construct new 18-inch gravity trunk sewers upstream of the proposed lift station at Reese park east to the western edge of the Ulen Country Club Golf Course to provide additional capacity in the gravity sewer. The improvements will be funded by the Utility Service Board and provisions of IC 36-1-12.5-7 relative to third party financing will not be utilized. Payment shall be by money order or check and shall be made payable to Butler, Fairman and Seufert, Inc. Attempted contact by a potential Provider with anyone associated with the Owner other than the Engineer may result in immediate disqualification. RFP responses may be reviewed to determine completeness prior to further evaluation. Owner may request an oral interview from one or more potential Providers to address specific issues. The interview will allow the potential Providers under consideration to clarify the specific points of their response to the RFP. Owner may provide notice to one or more potential Providers to submit a detailed price proposal. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all RFP responses and to be the sole judge of the value and merit of the RFP responses offered.
