Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bainbridge, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project includes construction of an asphalt parking lot with sidewalk and drainage improvements. The total site area is 0.57 acres. Improvements include demolition, construction of new base and pavement, a new storm sewer outfall, miscellaneous sidewalk and handicap ramp improvements, and erosion control measures. Work shall be in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by Lanier Engineering, Inc. A bid bond shall be required in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Contract Performance Bond and a Materials and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. No submitted proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The CITY OF BAINBRIDGE, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality and to award the Proposal as may be the in the best interest of the Owner, or readvertise for bids. 1.108 GUARANTY: The Contractor shall warrant all materials and labor for one year after the date of final acceptance by the Owner and the Engineer. 1.1.09 Georgia law requires that any private employer that contracts with a city for a public works contract must be registered for and use E-Verify. As such all contractors must sign the Contractor E-Verify Affidavit, all subcontractors must sign the Subcontractor E-Verify Affidavit and all Subsubcontractors must sign the Sub-Subcontractor Affidavit. The contractor is responsible for all subcontractor affidavits and the subcontractors are responsible for the sub-subcontractors affidavits. The Contractor E-Verify Affidavit shall be included with the Proposal.
