The Contract is to provide for the Atrium Roof Coping Replacement on the Main Terminal Building Atrium of Long Island MacArthur Airport, herein after "ISP", as set forth in the spacifications section of the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount and made payable to the Town of Islip. No bid will be accepted by e-mail or facsimile. Late bids will not be accepted. No responsibility shall attach to any person or persons for premature opening of bids not properly labeled or sealed. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part, to waive any informality in any or all bids and to accept the bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn, nor price increased, for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or no bids are received, the Department of Purchasing is authorized to re- advertise for bids.
