Failure to comply may preclude consideration of the proposal. Each Consultant is responsible for full and complete compliance with all laws, rules and regulations which may be applicable. The cost for development of the written proposal and the oral presentation are entirely the obligation of the Consultant and shall not be chargeable in any manner to Alachua County. Upon submission, all proposals become the property of the County which has the right to use any or all ideas presented in any proposal submitted in response to this Request for Proposal, whether or not the proposal is accepted. All work papers/products developed as part of the contract performance become property of the County upon termination or completion of the provision of services. Proposal response, containing all required documents, with authorized signatures, must be received by 2:00 p.m. on the due date indicated on the Proposal Cover Page for this RFP. The consultant's complete submittal in pdf format must be uploaded into DemandStar.com prior to the 2:00 p.m. deadline. If you believe that any portion of your response is exempt from disclosure as a public record, that exempt material must be submitted in a separate electronic pdf file. The pdf file must be clearly identified as "PUBLIC RECORDS EXEMPT," per Section 1.13 Proprietary Information. The pdf document should be titled with proposer's name, bid number, and, if the response is submitted in parts, include "Parts # of x". The response must be signed by an officer or authorized representative of the business who is legally authorized to enter into a contractual relationship in the name of the consultant. An authorized representative who is not an officer may sign the proposal, in this case the Consultant must provide a corporate resolution granting authorization to the officer or authorized representative to execute on behalf of the business. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
