The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking competitive bids for FWC 21/22-25C - THREE LAKES (G-111 STRUCTURE), in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Contractor to repair head/wing wall and all associated work. Contractor to repair cement bag riprap, head/wing wall and all associated work. All work done on this project shall be done in accordance with all the Contract Documents referenced, attached to the Vendor Bid System (VBS) advertisement and contained herein, made available through the link provided in the Technical Specifications and Construction Plans section below. Any questions from Bidders that require an official FWC answer Deadline for Questions Must be received PRIOR to: October 28, 2021 @ 5:00 PM ET concerning this project shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Manager. Questions must be received no later than the date and time specified in the Calendar of Events. Questions may be sent via email with the solicitation number in the subject line. It is the responsibility of the bidder to confirm receipt of questions if needed. Contractors are encouraged to bring any and all subcontractors needed to ensure an accurate bid and eliminate the need for additional site visits during the solicitation advertisement period. On projects where the base bid and sum of all additive alternates exceeds $100,000,00 the bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. Contractor shall furnish the Owner's Contract/Project Manager with a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond for any contracts in excess of $100,000 and shall be written by a Surety Company acceptable to Owner and authorized to do business in the State of Florida and signed by a Florida Licensed Resident Agent. Contractor is required to furnish replacement bonds in the event of cancellation of the original Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. The Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the State of Florida.
