Bridgeport-Spaulding Community Schools is soliciting RFPs for the expansion of the district network to the High School Athletic Fields. Bids will only be accepted electronically through email. Bidder must represent to the District that it provides for its own employee withholding for state and federal taxes, its own unemployment and workers' disability compensation, and all other tax and regulatory requirements, whether federal, state or local, with respect to its business or employees. NO Bids will be accepted from vendors that do not attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. Final Date for Inquiries: 12:00 PM EST, Thursday, November 18th, 2021 Final Addendum Posting: 3:00 PM EST, Friday, November 19th, 2021 No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after public opening. All bid proposals are to meet the minimum specifications indicated in this RFP. Bidder is to clearly indicate any item which deviates from the specifications. Negligence on the part of the bidder in preparing the bid confers no rights for the withdrawal of the bid after it has been opened. If either a unit price or extended price is obviously in error, or the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded. We reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or defects, and to accept other than the low bidder in the best interest of Bridgeport-Spaulding Community Schools. For all proposals in the amount of $50,000 or more: 1. Security may be a certified check, bank draft irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the project price to secure the District from loss or damage by reason of withdrawal or by failure of the bidder to enter into a contract if the bid is accepted. 2. All bidders must be bondable and shall include in the Proposal the cost of furnishing Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds each in the payable amount of 100% of the proposed bidding sum. The bonds shall hold Bridgeport-Spaulding Community Schools as the oblige. A surety authorized by the State of Michigan must issue bonds. The surety must be listed on the current Federal Register.
