Site work for a water / sewer project in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project consists of replacement of existing polymer & hypochlorite feed systems in Biosolids Processing Building and the Effluent Process Building. Work at the Biosolids Processing Building includes demolition of the existing polymer feed system & Installation of new feed equipment. The project generally consists of replacement of existing polymer and hypochlorite feed systems at the Biosolids Processing Building and the Effluent Process Building. Work at the Biosolids Processing Building includes demolition of the existing polymer feed system for polymer used in Rotating Drum Thickeners and Instillation of new feed equipment. The work shall be performed in such a way that the operation staff still has access to polymer and biosolids processing is not impeded during the work. Work at the Effluent Process Building Consists of demolition of the existing Hypochlorite feed system and storage tank; instillation of new storage and feed equipment; application of a protective coating within the Hypochlorite containment area; and instillation of a new tempered water safety shower/eyewash unit.
