Contract Award: Single Award Estimated Contract Duration: 4 Year Base Term with Four (1) one year option terms The Consultant shall provide engineering and related services required for the replacement of Lead Service Lines (LSL) to support DC Water's "Lead Free DC" (LFDC) initiative and its goal of replacing all lead, galvanized, and brass water service lines in the District of Columbia service area by 2030. The required services may include analyses, planning, design, permitting, construction management, data management and outreach services. The services to be performed by the Consultant shall be performed in accordance with applicable District of Columbia, DC Water and EPA regulations. All services shall be performed in accordance with the prevailing standards of the engineering industry. The Consultant shall provide personnel having, among other things, the requisite technical, engineering, construction management, data management, program management, and contract administration experiences to perform all services provided in the Scope of Services, so as to assure the successful completion of each project in the Program in a timely manner and within the allocated budget for each project. The services specified herein shall be provided only on an as authorized basis. Each request by the Consultant for authorization shall be for an element of work defined as to objective, scope, proposed staffing, schedule, duration, deliverable(s), and cost, as appropriate. All services provided, must be closely coordinated with the continuous operation of the water distribution system. All activities must be conducted to have minimum interference with the operation of the water system.
