A timeline for award has not yet been established.*** Beaufort County will receive bids for renovation of the Beaufort County Tennis Court facility located at the corner of Boundary and Bladen Streets, Beaufort SC . PN - 093021E Beaufort County will receive bids for renovation of the Beaufort County Tennis Court facility located at the corner of Boundary and Bladen Streets, Beaufort SC as defined by the Scope of Work and Exhibit hereafter. 1. The Scope of Work will include site work, materials, and construction of six (6) new marked tennis courts to include fencing, sidewalks (ADA compliant), nets/hardware/posts, and player benches along with the drainage and rain gardens in accordance with (IAW) the drawings and specifications laid out in the included Plans. The lump sum price proposed for the Work will include, but is not limited to, the following: a. All work as shown on construction plans as prepared by Andrews Engineering, Exhibit A with the exception of Court #1 (court numbering system shown on plans, page 4/Sheet 2), its enclosure (fencing) and any improvements within that enclosure. Court 1, the only single court enclosure, and its associated improvements will be considered as a potential alternate. b. Make application for and obtain building permit. Fees to be paid by Beaufort County. c. Material testing and inspections to include the following: i. Subgrade proof roll and density testing ii. Aggregate base proof roll and density testing iii. Asphalt compaction testing iv. Concrete compressive strength. v. All reports to be sent to Beaufort County within 48 hours of test results. d. Provide submittals and shop drawings for review for all materials and equipment prior to incorporation into the project (prior to placing on order). 2. Alternates to the Scope of Work (requiring bids for each) that will be included with the primary bid and which will be considered by the Owner to add to the Project include: a. Demolition of the existing courts, nets/hardware, and fences. (NOTE: This portion of the Work may or may not be included in the final contract.), and b. Adding a seventh court (Court #1) to include its associated fencing, ground prep, asphalt, base, court, net/hardware/posts, marking, benches, etc).
