All Bids shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days. ACPS is seeking responses from qualified Bidders for the HVAC Renovations Project at Cora Kelly Elementary School, located at 3600 Commonwealth Ave. Alexandria, VA 22305 via this Invitation to Bid (ITB, also interchangeably referred to as Solicitation). Any questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be directed to: Alexandria City Public Schools Attn: Lander Napper Buyer II 1340 Braddock Place, Suite, 620 Alexandria, VA 22314 Email: lander.napper@acps.k12.va.us. All questions must be submitted via email prior to 3:00 p.m. EST Friday March 11, 2022. No verbal questions shall be allowed. Include the ITB number and the title of the solicitation in the subject line of the email. All other work included in the contract to carry the project through SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION must be fully complete by September 1, 2022, as defined by a final inspection certificate. The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the HVAC Renovations Project at Cora Kelly Elementary School, and all other work shown, described and required in the Agreement Documents (hereinafter referred to as the Project or the Work). The Work shall be performed according to the standards established by the Agreement Documents read together as a single specification. It shall be the obligation of the Contractor to obtain clarification from the COTR concerning any questions about or conflicts in the specifications, drawings and construction notes in a timely way so as not to delay the progress of the Work. The Agreement Documents set forth the minimum Work estimated by ACPS and the Contractor to be necessary to complete the Work. It shall be the Contractors responsibility, at solely the Contractors cost, to provide sufficient services to fulfill the purposes of the Work. Nothing in the Agreement Documents shall be construed to limit the Contractors responsibility to manage the details and execution of its Work.
