Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ashburn, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of November 16, 2022, the project is under construction. No further inquiries to be accepted. Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water), the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed Bids for the aforementioned project. The procurement process and the performance of the Contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid Price. Questions Deadline: 6/1/2022 02:00 PM (ET) The project site is situated to the northwest of the existing Brambleton Park West located at the intersection of Northstar Boulevard and Belmont Ridge Road in Loudoun County, Virginia. A Site Vicinity Map is shown on Figure 1 in Appendix A. The site primarily consists of wooded areas, and is traversed by Alford Road from east to west along its northern extent. The site is bordered by an existing residential development to the north, Northstar Boulevard to the east, Beaverdam Reservoir to the west, and Brambleton Park West to the southeast. Ground surface elevations across the site range from roughly 290 feet o 320 feet MSL. PN - 006746-04-002 *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
