Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Prairieville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of January 4, 2021, the project has been awarded to River Road Construction for $365,203.93. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid must accompany each Bid, and shall be made payable to the Owner. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, for and subject to the conditions provided in the information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. This project will include removal of existing timber bridge including wingwalls, wood pilings. guardrails, concrete deck and installation of three (3) 10' x 10' x 48' reinforced concrete box culverts, grading, drainage and 610 limestone base course. All questions regarding this project and the bid package shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 10:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2021.
