The Town of Waterford seeks proposals from qualified flooring Contractors for the replacement of approximately 5000 sq. ft. of existing carpeting at the Emergency Management Building. The Town seeks a Contractor to complete allrelated work, including removal and disposal of old carpeting. The Contractorisresponsible for moving and replacing all furniture and office equipment in the same location after the new carpet is installed. The majority of the work will take place outside regular business hours. Each office will be ready to open for business the next business day unless a previous time agreement was made by the Town for the work in that room/office. The work involves removal, replacement, and disposal of old carpeting and the installation of carpet tiles, and vinyl wall molding. The contractor is also responsible to provide office furniture/equipment moving services to allow for the removal and installation of the specified flooring. Any required electrical services will also be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor will not be responsible for removing computers and office equipmentsuch as printers and copiers, the Town'sIT Department will be responsible for moving such equipment. However, these moves shall be coordinated between the Contractor and the IT department.
