The City of Olympia ("City") is soliciting proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified contractors ("Contractors") to provide on-call street sweeping waste (sweep waste) and vactor waste transport and disposal services. The City shall authorize on-call sweep waste and/or vactor waste tasks on an as needed basis. The City's current yearly averages of 665 tons of sweep waste and 285 tons of vactor waste are anticipated. Additionally, the average annual sweep waste total is expected to increase by a minimum of 400 tons after the purchase and delivery of a second sweeper in the first quarter of 2023. The City anticipates requesting on-call sweep waste removal 2 to 3 times each year and 4 to 5 times each year after the second street sweeper is operating. On-call vactor waste removal is expected 6 to 7 times each year. Additional on-call waste removal task order requests for both waste streams may be required. If necessary, questions will be answered via an addendum. The deadline for questions is 5:00 PM Pacific time, Monday, April 25, 2022.
