Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,224-square-foot municipal facility.
The project will be done in 4 phases, with the first 3 phases being small portions of work and the 4th and last phase being the largest portion of work. The work consists of some partition reconfiguring with ceiling work as needed to accommodate the partition work. In the areas where partition work is taking place and ceilings are removed, any existing abandoned electrical and mechanical devices will be removed. All existing conduit that remains will be supported per code requirements if they are not currently in compliance. Carpet will be removed and replaced in selected areas including wall base. Old wood paneling on walls within the project area will be removed and resurfaced with gypsum board. Doors and hardware will be removed and replaced with ADA compliant hardware throughout the project area. A new ADA compliant break area with counter and sink will be added. Systems furniture workstations are included in the scope of work. Painting of walls will be typical throughout project areas. PROJECT #: 21029
