SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SUBMISSION GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: An amount equivalent to a percentage of the tender price and in the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date the bids are opened; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, savings or credit union or trust or savings company and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form in the amount of five percent ( 5%) of the bid price.
