Proposals from certified Small Business Concerns only will be accepted for the Landslide Repairs - West Region Contract 1, Project PR ER PRMNT RPR(9), Solicitation Number 693C73-22-R-000006, located in the municipalities of San Sebastian, Las Marias, San German, Yauco, Utuado, Aguada, and Aguadilla in Puerto Rico. The project consists of repairing landslide and washout damage by Hurricanes Irma and Maria on PR-2, PR-119, PR-123, PR-128 and PR-440. The work includes embankment restoration, gravity retaining walls, gabion basket walls, mechanically stabilized earth walls, traffic control, excavation, pavement reconstruction, erosion and sediment control, drainage repairs, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall between $1,000,0000 and $5,000,000. Contract Award/Notice to Proceed is subject to the receipt of permits. Request for Proposal documents should be issued on or about October 19, 2022. Proposal due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for all interested contractors. The date and location will be specified in Section E of the Solicitation. No organized site visit will be scheduled. Offerors will be required to submit qualifications related to their construction experience in landslide repair construction projects. The Solicitation will include further information on these requirements. This will be a lowest price technically acceptable solicitation. All eligible certified Small Business firms/teams (Offerors) will be invited to participate in a two-step RFP process. The two steps will include the submittal of two proposal packages; a Technical proposal and a Price Proposal.
