The Waltham Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the abatement of asbestos at Lowell and Gardner Streets, Waltham, MA, in accordance with the documents prepared by Endpoint Consultants. (FISH#315169).The Project consists of the removal and proper disposal of asbestos pipe covering and reinsulating existing boiler distribution and return piping. All Bids should be submitted online at electronically. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), nonrefundable, and payable to the BidDocs ONLINE Inc., to cover mail handling costs
