For parking lot improvements consisting of PCC and asphaltic concrete paving, subsurface drainage, potable water lines, and parking striping and signage including all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, etc Deposits on the first set of documents furnished to bona fide Prime bidders, fully licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board of Contractors, will be fully refunded upon the return of the documents in good condition, no later than ten (1O) days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to said prime bidders, the payment of $50.00 dollars shall constitute the cost of reproduction and handling and Will Not Be Refunded. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to South Louisiana Community College, Lafayette, Louisiana and plainly marked on the outside, "Bid for T. H. Harris South Street Campus Parking Lot Improvements, MGA Project BLDG#222". Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to the South Louisiana Community College, as a guarantee that the bidder will furnish all necessary bonds and enter into a contract if his bid is accepted. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof The South Louisiana Community College reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with public bid law. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The times for Substantial Completion is 180 calendar days and readiness for final payment is 225 calendar days and will be entered into the Agreement . CONTRACTOR shall furnish performance and payment Bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price.
