The bids will be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of$50.00, payable to the City of Fremont. If the bid is rejected, the check or bid bond will be returned with notice. On bids accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned upon completion of signed contracts. All chemicals to be quoted F.O.B. plant docks in Fremont, Ohio or applicable; freight rate included in the bid, unless otherwise noted. Price quotations are firm for the bid period. Deliveries shall be made between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on normal working days (Monday through Friday) or as otherwise approved. Unloading procedures are the responsibility of the supplier and shall be delivered in sealed delivery containers (bags, bins, cylinders, drums, tankers, etc.) verified by Fremont Water or Wastewater personnel. If the seal is broken, the product or portion thereof, may be refused for delivery at no cost to the City of Fremont The right is reserved, by the Safety Service Director of the City of Fremont, Ohio, to reject any or all bids, and to waive technical defects, irregularities and informalities as the interest of the City may require.
