Bidding and construction is estimated to take place in 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water (CWD) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing professional services to design improvements for the plant computer control systems (PCCS) for its Nottingham, Baldwin, Crown, and Morgan Water Works Plants, the distribution control system (DCS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) for various secondary sites. These services are needed to assist CWD staff. Tasks may require services such as design, plan review, planning, project and construction monitoring, inspection, specialized technical assistance, project design services, and construction administration services. Interested parties may submit or ask questions pertaining to the enclosed Request for Proposal (RFP) and the services desired. Proposers are encouraged to attend the conference, although attendance is not mandatory. The last day for questions will be November 11, 2021 by 12:00 p.m. If your firm is interested, please submit your proposal to CWD no later than 12:00 noon, ET, on November 19, 2021, an original and four (4) complete duplicates of your technical proposal and your fee proposal, in hard copy and an electronic copy on CD- ROM. Submit the technical proposal and the fee proposal in separate sealed envelopes, marked appropriately on the outside. No proposals will be accepted after that date and time, unless CWD extends the deadline by a written addendum. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or portions of them, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, to re-issue or to proceed to obtain the services desired otherwise, at any time or in any manner considered in the City's best interests. The Director may, at his sole discretion, modify or amend any provision of this notice or the RFP.
