Site work for a water / sewer project in Niles, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For Sanitary Sewer Lining Provide cured-in-place pipe lining for rehabilitation of three individual sewer pipe within the City of Niles sanitary collection system. The pipes to be rehabilitated include 12-inch and 15-inch pipes. The locations are on Lincoln, Front and Marion Streets. The work requested includes all preparation work, lining and restoration of service and various appurtenances. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
