Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids/RFP for Centennial Utilities shall comply with the provisions of the statute. The bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided in accordance with the Contract Package. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with Centennial Utilities and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required bond. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids. Centennial Utilities reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Contractor agrees to perform and accomplish the construction, installation, and test approximately 11,000 feet of 2" MDPE and 125 1/2 " MDPE gas service lines.
