The City of Binghamton Water Filtration Plant is requesting companies capable of performing this type of work to submit bids for work to begin As soon as possible. The Mixers should be equal to Lightnin Model # 92 Q 5 with an 84 RPM output shaft and equal blade style to provide maximum rotary mixing. 1) All Companies must be capable of providing replacement gear box motor shafts and blades of equal dimensions of existing set up. 2) All Companies must have a proven track record of this kind of work. 3) All Companies must supply three professional references along with contact numbers and a list of what type of work was performed at each facility. 4) All companies should understand this is critical infrastructure work as such downtime of equipment is limited to very short windows of opportunity. There are currently two mixer units in place one is non-operational and will be replaced and working before second unit work may begin. All Companies will be responsible for electrical, rigging and crane services as required. 5) Failure to comply with any of the previous requests will lead to disqualification of the Bidder. The winning company will be selected and notified as soon as possible so you may begin work. The City of Binghamton will expect a timeline for the completion of the work to be done. Any additional work will be worked out and agreed upon in writing by City and Service Provider as required to complete project.
