As of Febaruary 28, 2022, the project has been awarded to Core & Main but amount not available. The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to the following: 69 EA 5/8" Water Meter Replacements 300 EA 5/8"x 3/4" Water Meter Replacements 19 EA 1" Water Meter Replacements 439 EA Radio Read Units Provide and install software along with training Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders . A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, to negotiate with the low bidder, and/or to re-advertise the project for bids.
