Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cairo, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project site will be available immediately upon the District issuing a Notice to Proceed, with construction to commence on or about May 17, 2022. The project shall be substantially complete no later than August 17, 2022. Any bid received after the deadline will not be opened or considered and will be returned to bidder. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above date and time, or shortly thereafter. Proposals will be received for a single general contract for the Work. Low bid will be based on base bid accepted by the Owner plus alternates accepted by the Owner. Substitutions will not be used to determine the low bidder. Faxed bids will not be acceptable. List of sub-contractors used will be required. AWARDING OF BID. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. The winning bid shall be announced by the Board of Education at its meeting to be held on February 14, 2022, or at such other meeting determined by the Board. FOR PURPOSES OF THESE DOCUMENTS, THE OWNER IS USING THE TERM BID(S), BIDDER(S), BIDDING AS SYNONYMOUS WITH THE TERM PROPOSAL(S). INQUIRIES AND BID INSTRUCTIONS.
