Renovation of an educational facility in Benton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,500-square-foot educational facility.
Work covered by the Base Bid includes approximately 10,500 square foot of roof replacement. Demolition work consists of: Removal and legal disposal of the existing roofing membrane system(s) down to the existing roof deck to remain, including: all associated wood framing/blocking, sheet metal trim/flashing, and other miscellaneous associated roof items. New work consists of: new, fully adhered, 80 mil. TPO membrane system with 30 year warranty, new cover boards, new flat and tapered insulation, new wood framing/blocking, new sheet metal trim/flashing, new sealants/caulking, and other miscellaneous new work and associated roof items. Additional new work includes extending vents, curbs, penetrations, conduits, utilities and gas piping as required to coordinate with new work; roof curb extensions, new roof curbs, and other miscellaneous roof work required to coordinate with the new roof membrane system(s).
