Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the addition of a 150,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Addition and renovations to the College building. The project involves the construction of an expansion behind Collège Ahuntsic, with a gross area of 13,872 m2 (8,646 m2 net), consolidating the teaching, community, administrative, and athletic centers. The expansion primarily consists of classrooms, computer labs, offices, and sports facilities. The project also includes the redevelopment of 2,011 m2 net (3,163 m2 gross) of existing space freed up by the transfer of teaching activities to the expansion. The redevelopment of the affected areas will promote the integration of spaces that complement the needs of the various teaching programs offered by the college. TIMELINE: Working drawings are ongoing. The project is included under the number 312 in the list of the Treasury Board Secretariat major projects and is stated to be in a "design stage". According to the owner's scheduling a tender for the general contractor is not anticipated before summer/early fall 2026.
