Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Baldwinton, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Cowan Lake Operator Swap and Safety Improvements project consists of the following work: - Demolition, removal, and offsite disposal of the Bay 3 and Bay 4 gate operator. Supply and installation of new gate operators including handrails, and replacement of the radial gate J-seals. - Removal and disposal of safety handrails and upstream fish ladder platform for the control structure. Supply and installation of new safety handrails, upstream fish ladder platform, and fall restraint. - Storage compound improvements including installation of a new storage rack, modification to the existing storage rack, and storage compound expansion by removal and installation of new chain link fence and repurposed gates, and gravelled turnaround pad. - Tree removal including clearing and grubbing and other site preparation, as required for storage compound and temporary access roads. - Care of water measures including isolation of Bays 3 and 4 for installation works. - Provisions for overhead installation of gate and operators; including crane and crane pad, as required. - Installation of fall restraints. - Temporary access roads and laydown area, as required, including preparation, maintenance, and final removal including site restoration. - Concrete repairs for the control structure walkway deck. - Compliance and coordination with regulatory authorities.
