Authorized on-site Inspection and Plan Review Agencies for Electrical Work (3 Year Contract) Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the Public Law 1977 Ch. 33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 which requires a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who own 10% or more of its stock, of any class or of all individual partners in the partnership who own 10% or greater interest, as the case may be. All contractors and subcontractors are required to submit a copy of their Business Registration Certificate issued by the NJ Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. Challenges to bid specifications must be made in writing, addressed to the Township Clerk, at least three (3) business days prior to the bid opening date. Challenges filed otherwise will not be considered. Prospective bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 17:24 (Contract Compliance and Affirmative Action for Public Contracts). Prospective bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.27. Business entities are advised of their responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement of political contributions with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), if they receive contracts in excess of $50,000 from public entities in a calendar year. The Township reserves the right to reject bids based upon the criteria specified in the Information to Bidders. Bids must be on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and name of the project on the outside.In the event that it becomes necessary to clarify or revise this bid, such clarification or revision will be by addendum. Any addendum to this bid will become part of this bid and part of any contract awarded as a result of this bid.
