**As of March 23, 2022, project was awarded to Marcum’s Nursery, awarded amount is $84,968.75.** The Project consists of furnishing and installing landscaping for the park project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with addi-tive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Sealed bids can also be mailed to the City of Ardmore Purchasing Coor-dinator, 23 South Washing-ton, Ardmore, OK 73401, as long as they are received by the date and time refer-enced above. Bids shall be opened in the Ardmore City Hall Commission Chambers, at the above stated time for receipt of bids, or as soon thereafter as practicable, and publicly read aloud and tabulated. Bids shall be made in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders contained in the Bid Docu-ments. All bids timely received, shall be considered by the City prior to a Contract being awarded. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The Bidder shall honor the bid prices for a period of 60 days from the time the bids are opened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive immaterial defects and irregularities or award the bid by item/schedule or all/none as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. The City may accept any bid, bid alternate or any combination thereof, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in bids received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. All alternates requested on the bid form will be considered in the award of the Contract. Bid secu-rity will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders. All bids, shall include the costs for payment, performance and maintenance bonds when required, shall remain binding on the Contractor for a period of 60 days after the bid date and time. The Bidder shall only use the City's Bid Proposal and affidavits or photocopies thereof. All forms must be signed and all affidavits sworn to and notarized. All bids shall be typewritten or in ink. Bidder shall file the bid in a sealed envelope. Each envelope shall bear a legible notation thereon that it is a bid upon the project proposed, list the project number, and the name of the Bidder. The Successful Bidder shall deliver the executed Contract, Bonds, and Certificates of Insurance, as required in the Bid Documents, to the City no later than fifteen (15) calendar days following the City's notification of its intent to award the Contract, unless that time is extended by the City. The City, may issue addenda as necessary and in the best interest of the public and the City. Addenda may amend the date and/or time for receipt of bids or any spec-ification, item, document or requirement in the Contract Documents upon notice to all prospective Bidders who have purchased Contract Docu-ments for this project. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder. It is the responsibility of the bidder to familiarize themselves with the Park site at 251 E. Main, Ardmore, prior to bidding the project. Following Addendum is hereby issued by the undersigned on behalf of the City of Ardmore regarding subject project. The following specifications, clarifications and directions are hereby provided: 1. The Notice of Award erroneously stated the date of the first Notice to Bidders. The correct date of the Notice to Bidders is October 24, 2021. 2. The Contract and bid Documents erroneously state work completion date. The correct date for completion of the first part of the contract is January 10, 2022 (Weather Dependent). The correct date for substantial completion of the second part of the contract is April 25, 2022. And, the final completion date is May 4, 2022. 3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
