Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 105,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Consistent with the institution's strategic plan and vision, this project will construct a new Science and Technology Building on the UNT main campus. The selected firm will be required to provide pre-construction and construction services for a new Science and Technology Building of approximately 105,000 GSF. This building will feature flexible wet and dry open research laboratories for interdisciplinary research, a vivarium, core equipment space, BSL-3 Lab (space to be designed and constructed to meet BSL-3 standards, however, will not be commissioned until a later date), potential clinical space, and meeting rooms and collaborative spaces, and other work areas. Substantial completion anticipated to be April 2026.
