This Request for Quotation (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the "City") to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for Electrical Services for Seniors Services and Long-Term Care, as further described in Part 3 and the Contract (the "Deliverables"). This specification applies to Electrical Services of the interior and exterior areas of various City of Toronto Long-Term Care Homes. The locations will include, but not limited to, the following locations: Home Address: - Bendale Acres (176,000 sq.ft) 2920 Lawrence Ave.E, Scarborough - Carefree Lodge (56,000 sq.ft.) 306 Finch Ave. East, North York - Castleview Wychwood Towers (246,000 sq.ft) 351 Christie Street, Toronto - Cummer Lodge (243,000 sq.ft) 205 Cummer Ave., North York - Fudger House (100,000 sq.ft) 439 Sherbourne Street, Toronto - Kipling Acres(330, 376 sq. ft) 2233 Kipling Ave., Rexdale - Lakeshore Lodge (75,000 sq.ft) 3197 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Etobicoke - Seven Oaks (111,000 sq.ft) 9 Neilson Road, Scarborough - True Davidson Acres (188,000 sq.ft) 200 Dawes Road, East York - Wesburn Manor (150,000 sq.ft) 400 The West Mall, Etobicoke Note: Square footage listed represents building size. Where the work or service of the vendor is performed on City property, the vendor shall at all times comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations and take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of its workers. If the vendor subcontracts any or all of the work or services to be performed, the vendor will ensure the subcontractor(s) are qualified to perform the work or services and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations. Unless otherwise stated, if the work or service is a project as defined under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the vendor shall be deemed to be the constructor under the act and its Regulations and the vendor must govern itself accordingly. The selected supplier will be required to execute a Contract with the City for the provision of the Deliverables. Suppliers should review the terms and conditions set out in Part 2 (FORM OF AGREEMENT) to understand the Contract being entered into with the City. It is the City's intention to enter into a Contract with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the Contract is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to three (3) separate one (1) year.
