Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Desires to obtain Professional Stormwater and Water Pipeline Replacement Design Services for the design of the Golfview Estates flooding relief Capital Improvement Project. The City will provide topographic survey necessary for the design of the project. The design project shall include but is not limited to, permitting, utilities, SUEs, Geotech, and any other item pertinent to the delivery of a 100% design plan set, for a major stormwater trunk line and various transmission and distribution water pipelines. The stormwater related work consists of the design of approximately 4400 linear feet of RCP, trunk line, laterals, inlets and associated utility relocation, commencing at the stubbed pipe provided at the eastern terminus of Dale Mabry and Watrous Avenue FDOT project and terminating at the intersection of Himes Ave and McKay to the North and Almeria and Jean Circle to the South. The water pipeline related work consists of the design of approximately 2300 linear feet of 24" DIP and various smaller distribution pipeline incidentals The design contract is expected to be performed over an ten month period with a budget of $650,000 ($400k stormwater & $250k water).
